Corporate social responsibility at DHL
Living responsibility

DHL is the leading and largest logistics company in the world. While we are incredibly proud of this, it also comes with great responsibility towards our employees, society, and the environment. That is why these three themes form the cornerstones of our strategy.

Improving sustainability starts with commitment. We're committed to achieving zero-emission logistics by 2050. Our green agenda is first focused on 2025. By then, we want to have at least 70% clean delivery solutions such as electric vehicles and bicycles. We also want to ensure that more than half of our products are made using green solutions. All our employees think sustainably, and we plant one million trees every year together with our partners.

If there's a disaster anywhere in the world, our boundless network can be a great help. The United Nations and other organizations really value our network and use it to provide emergency relief. With our logistics expertise and support, we give relief operations an extra boost. Our employees also lend a helping hand by offering their time on International Volunteer Day and through the DHL Living Responsibility Fund.

The best way to build a good future is by increasing opportunities for young people. DHL participates in various teaching programs across the world. Through the GoTeach program the Deutsche Post DHL Group works together with two renowned partners: Teach for All and SOS Children’s Villages. It is our goal to offer young people from all socio-economic backgrounds better education and access to new opportunities on the labor market.
